Amerock always had another company manufacture the mechanical components or insides of their locksets. Over the years, Amerock used several companies to produce these components. Below is a listing of these different manufacturers. Amerock left the lock business when they sold the last company, National. That company has since gone out of business. Regardless of who manufactured the inside components, the outside trim parts looked very much the same.
Schlage – used for approximately the first year, produced a lockset with a five-pin brass cylinder tumbler. (Key blank SC-1)
Arrow – used for most of the program, produced a lockset with a six-pin brass cylinder tumbler. (Key blank AR-4)
National – used the last couple of years, produced a five-pin zinc cylinder tumbler. (Key blank NA-6)
Schlage – for deadbolt and keyed knob shown, interior lock backsets would be “F” series, written on the barrel of the latch.
Arrow – for interior locks
